See Spot Run’s volunteers have been working diligently for over five years to bring the dream of the Boulder City Dog Park to a reality…and we’re almost there! We’ve raised enough money to start construction and proceed with Phase One…but even once the dog park is open to the community, there will be SO much left to do! In addition to funding our ongoing operational costs, we have wonderful improvements planned…all of which will only create a bigger and better dog park for the residents of and visitors to Boulder City.

With the launch of our new website, we’re pleased to announce several advertising opportunities for businesses who would like to show their support of See Spot Run. We have long received sponsorship of our print newsletter, but are excited to now offer additional ways for even more businesses to make tax-deductible contributions toward the construction and then ongoing operations of our park.

Here is your opportunity to pay tribute to a much-loved pet, place your family name on a permanent feature, promote a business, or give a birthday gift to be long remembered. The Entry Plaza at our Boulder City Dog Park will be paved with fund-raising flagstone pavers and we are happy to announce that we are now accepting donations for the first section of pavers.
Each flagstone will be custom engraved with your own special message or sentiment, with the number of words and size of the message dependent upon the size flagstone you choose. Corporate logos and other special artwork will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis to determine whether they can be reproduced on stone.
Because the flagstones are a product of nature, sizes are only approximate, but we will be offering stones in Small, Medium and Large sizes. The earliest donors will have their flagstones placed in the prime location (going up the center of the Entry Plaza).

As you can imagine, the cost of building a dog park is astronomical! However, we have been amazingly fortunate to have had offers of assistance from so many businesses in the community to help us with the actual construction efforts of the physical park. This will allow us to save our funds to cover the expenses for which we have not been able to secure donations or discounts.
Keep an eye open for a new section to our website and announcements on our blog, Facebook and Twitter account where we’ll showcase all of the generous businesses assisting us as we reach their stage of the construction process!
If you have a product, service or even a connection that you believe would be of assistance to us in the physical construction of our park – we would LOVE to hear from you! Imagine everything we could possibly need…from chain link fencing, signage, water stations, decomposed granite, and cement…to the labor for installation of all the aforementioned — we could really use your help!
Throughout the past few years, See Spot Run has held several different annual fundraisers and they’ve made a significant contribution to our savings account! This year, with the addition of some energetic new Board Members, we’re looking forward to expanding not only the number of fundraisers we hold, but the size and scope of them!
Our next fundraiser will always be listed in the left sidebar of our website and we’ll be blogging about them…as well as announcing them through our new Facebook and Twitter accounts. The more we can spread the word, the greater the participation will be and the more funds we can raise for our park!
Of course, you might not be able to attend our fundraising events, have construction materials or expertise you can offer, or even own a business for which you can place an advertisement.
But you can still support See Spot Run by making a financial contribution! We truly believe that every dollar counts…and the reality is that 100 people donating $5 is just as big of a contribution as one business donating $500. Your $5 can help us reach our goals!
