See Spot Run’s dedicated volunteers coordinate two major Boulder City events each year, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Boulder City Dog Park…those events being the Annual Celebrity Dog Walk and the Annual Boulder City Pub Crawl and Poker Run.

For the Annual Celebrity Dog Walk, held each Spring, we roll out the Red Carpet for you and your dog, all while raising money for the dog park.  Upon your arrival at the event, you and your dog literally walk the red carpet into the event while being cheered on by the volunteers from the Miss Boulder City pageant.  Every dog is a one-of-a-kind star, and it is an opportunity for you and your dog to shine in your moment of fame!

At the Annual Boulder City Pub Crawl and Poker Run, held each Fall, you can enjoy a fun evening and help raise money for our Boulder City Dog Park by having a great time with your friends and patronizing Boulder City’s restaurants and pubs!  Participants each make a $20.00 donation and then spend the evening visiting each of seven Boulder City pubs or eateries and enjoy drinks, snacks or meals along the way. At each establishment, they draw a playing card and at the end of the evening, the player with the highest poker hand and the player with the lowest poker hand each win a prize.

At the Annual Boulder City Spring Jamboree, coordinated by the Boulder City Chamber of Commerce, Bark in the Park has become a much anticipated event for the participants and audience alike!  Sponsored and MC’d by BC Real Estate’s Cokie Booth, Bark in the Park is a hilarious dog show and competition with zany prize categories such as “Waggiest Tail”, “Shortest Legs” and “Most Scruffiest”.  See Spot Run assists Cokie with the registration process and in return, Cokie generously donates 100% of the proceeds from the $10 donation fee to our organization and the Boulder City Dog Park.  Best of all…many of our best friends proudly return home wearing white, red and blue ribbons!

Brand new to our fundraising efforts this year is “Dining for Dogs!”…where we partner with a local area restaurant who has generously agreed to donate a percentage of the proceed from a certain day to See Spot Run! Visitors to the restaurant just need to mention that they are there to support See Spot Run…then sit back and enjoy your meal…our restaurant will do the rest!
